Revver Creators: Meet Blinkx!

I'm eager to see the posts, but I can't tell you how excited I am about this deal. Revver's achilles heal was the limited reach and lack of organization of the site itself. This changes a lot, and I look forward to seeing the broader exposure the Revver videos get.

So, am I understanding this correctly...? Blinkx gets to pick up anything and everything in revver's library and the creators will get paid...But, if we upload our stuff to blinkx ourselves, our tags are cut off...?

Here's what I'm guessing has happened. The Blinkx folks' PR people got ahead of the Revver folks on this announcement. The Revver blog doesn't mention this news yet ( and even RRR has been quiet.

So let me speculate (and that's all this is. I'm not on the inside):
1) Currently if you submit directly to Blinkx you don't get ad revenue.
2) In time, Revver will be served through Blinkx in a way that maintains the ad tag of Revver-generated content.
3) Blinkx may or may not decide to use Revver's model to let other creators tag videos if they submit to Blinkx. I'm guessing they won't be in a hurry here, since that would mean sharing ad money with people that may not want or need it.
4) In the meantime, I'd suggest we keep uploading to Revver knowing they'll work this out with Blinkx. Either way, I want my stuff on both Blinkx AND Revver as long as I get ad revenue. So I'm guessing Revver will be our single spot to post content and get ad revenue. That said, I hope Revver will make it as easy to post as
