The Self Indulgence of Blogs

I think this well captures the self indulgence of blogs.

I did another little spoof called "BlogAnon" and it was rejected by Revver for suspected copyright infringement. (Wait, this gets funny later)

I was mad as a wet hen, firing off a detailed history of what I thought was the problem (thank you Revver, for not expending the energy to explain exactly what was the issue in favor of your canned messages).

I thought the problem was the art. So I sent them the history trail of the art as only an obsessive compulsive personality can:

"I bought a graphics program in the late 80's called "Graphics Works." The image in question came with the program as a samples gif. I then manipulated it in a program called "SuperPaint." From there I modified it some more in "Illustrator 3" and ported it to "Photoshop 5."
I have used this image in publications, most noticeably "Chrysallis," a monthly registered nurses publication in San Antonio,Texas, May, 1989.
In the print media world, a graphic is considered fair game if it was given over to commercial use (as in bundled with graphics manipulation software) or is substantially altered (at least 25 percent). The original bundled commercial use graphic was of a man in a helmet in the jungle pointing a weapon.
Whose copyright am I infringing?"

(Wait, this DOES get funny)

My "BlogAnon" spoof was about getting help for bloggeritus. After I got the copyright infringement notice, I did a little checking. There actually IS a BlogAnon!

Wait! Can't I spoof a blogsite? Especially since it was unintentional? I don't know. All I DO know is that Revver has NEVER answered a question I've sent them... except to send some vague, canned cryptically robotical message that reminds me very much of V.A. obtuseness.
