Animator vs. Animation

This is fantastic. That's all I can say.

Only video posted by AlanB, but hopefully more will follow. Thanks Revver Editor's pick for identifying it.

I wish the artists would stick to submitting their stuff to iFilm and leave us amatuers alone!

I ran a 5K last night and was surrounded by a bunch of professional runners in their spandex (as I wore a bathing suit I found in my car). That's how I feel as the new content starts popping up on Revver.

Well, you predicted it: the day of the amatuer video poster is coming to an end. Only folks with 40 grand or better in video equipment will really be in the adclick biz. Well, it was an interesting year. NOW what'll I do?

It's true, but not in absolute. I think there will remain a market for our stuff, but we'll get passed by the pros. And there will always be an appetite for the ridiculous spontanious stuff that's captured by amateurs (hence AFV). I'm planning a fake accident tomorrow that involves a computer falling out of a car. Don't tell anyone.

Well shit fire and save the matches, I'm surrounded by ridiculous. I should turn on my camcorder and ... no, it's not ridiculous I'm surrounded by. It's pathetic.

Okay, when the video world is ready for pathetic, I'm there!

What kind of computer are you sacrificing to the video gods? You know, now that I think about it, you tear up a lot of technology in your videos. You got a special electronics discount card at WalMart or something?

It's an old Dell. The key will be making it look like an accident. And then watching the YouTubers post "it's fake- I can tell." That's what's cool about Revver. I don't have to listen to criticism.

Ah, the YouTube Reality checkers. Someone should post the Zapruder film for their edification.
