Votes and Views: As Unpredictable as Online Videos Themselves

We've all notices that the votes and views counts seems damaged. I got a 5 rating on a video that's never been watched (White Bucks). And I haven't been able to vote since there was still snow on the ground. I'm less concerned about this, except in two ways:
1) Does the view count mean that we may not be getting credit for ad clicks?
2) How will the competitions (KissKissBangBang and Chappelle's Block party) be judged if voting isn't working. Maybe I can't vote because my computer is cookied since I submit. But I get pink stars and no confirmation that the vote took.

Anyone else having problems?

Oh- here's White Bucks. It was designed to solicit horrible comments on YouTube.

I haven't been able to vote in a long, long while. It's been six or seven months since the voting feature worked regularly, hasn't it?

I don't know if Revver is failing to count views and adclicks. All I know is my adclick income plummeted like a Newtonian graviton meteor from $50+ a day to $3 a day quicker than you can say "I'm bringing white bucks back."

Is it my imagination, or are the technical aspects of Revver getting worse and worse and worse? Revver seems like an aging machine in a Howard Phillips Lovecraft story: parts keep falling off but the thing clanks along pretending nothing's wrong.

Enjoyed White Bucks a lot. You're so funny.

I've only been a revver member for 1 week now,at first i was very impressed with their email support, and "views"/"income" updates.During my first day that i had public videos(june 19),The views were updated almost instantly, and the income was updated every 10 to 15 minutes.I even had 2 support responses to just one question! But for the last 5 days.....no views, income, email support....nothing,nada,zip,zero.As i read somewhere on forums.revver.com,"they must be orbiting the dark side of the moon and cant communicate until they complete the orbit?".My only guess is that Revver is about to launch their new site, and they are all swamped with no time for support.I'm pretty sure they are still tallying the views/income,hopefully it will all hit at once.I've noticed that zefrank is still uploading videos,so thats a good sign! Anyone having similiar experiences, and how long do they usually pause the views/income? thanks....Steve(lamergamer).

Then I must be getting "special" treatment from Revver, eh?

Hey Marquis,Is this a common revver practice to delay the views/income for days/weeks and cut everyones income by 97%?. About every two days they throw me a few cents.Thats not exactly my idea of "real time" updates!HOw long did your income remain at $50+ per day? I'm just about to remove all my videos as im seeing others already doing.THanks,steve.

Remove them to where? MotionTv? Mediatipper? BlipTv? MillionDollarJukeBox?

Revver used to run smoothly. Logic dictates that what can be done once, can be done again.

You came in at a bad time. Revver has caught some sort of technological/management STD. I'm sure there's a cure. I've been paid nearly $1,500 by Revver so far (since October of 2005 on 503 videos). So far, so good.

Almost $3 a video for 8 months work. Impressive.

That white bucks bit was disturbing -- I felt embarrassed for you. Hard to believe you're a balding married guy with kids.

Remember Oliver's complaint about his father in "Love Story"? It was the complaint of that generation: that our fathers were unknowable stonefaces, hardened by responsibilities into emotionless automatons of capitalism. And they were no fun.

Transactional analysis, my friend. Transactional analysis. Nalts hasn't let the Parent personality strangle The Inner Child and good for him. His children still look well fed and his wife loves him enough to not only put up with his shenanigans, but to assist also.

Looks to me like he's blessed. Jealous, anonymous?

White bucks. That's hilarious! Nalts, you just ignore the naysayers out there. The speeded up voice is great. Cracked me up. You always come up with some original weird stuff that makes me laugh out loud. Don't let the bastards grind you down! Keep that Inner Child Alive. Listen to Marquis, he knows! (By the way Marquisdejolie, I never knew what the HP stood for. Thank you.)

Nalts -- a real modern role model for Dads, who think like kids, and don't care that it makes you uncomfortable.
